Classes with Bunga lǎoshī were enjoyable and fun! We were asked to participate in questioning and answering, making every class truly interactive. In the tourism field, communication skills are important, and learning Mandarin has made me more confident to communicate. Mandarin is known to be difficult, and miscommunication often happens, but learning it has helped me break down communication barriers and better understand how Mandarin speakers communicate. It’s such an honour to have Bunga lǎoshī as our Level A teacher. She is kind, patient, understanding, and supportive, making sure students were not intimidated by the complexity of the language. I will forever remember her as the person who made me fall in love with HànYǔ!

I thought learning Mandarin would be stressful, but the class with Minqi Laoshi turned out to be really fun and engaging. The role plays and interactive approach made it easier to understand the concepts instead of just memorising, and she made sure everyone followed along, which really helped. The role-playing sessions were my favourite, acting out real-life scenarios helped me practise naturally and remember how to use the right sentence structures in context. Passing my HSK1 exam gave me confidence that I can continue learning, and it also helps me appreciate different cultures more deeply. I can now start basic conversations with Mandarin speakers around me. I feel excited and motivated, even though Mandarin isn’t easy, I enjoy the challenge. Understanding how the grammar works instead of just memorising makes me feel like I’m building a solid foundation to go further. Learning alongside classmates from different backgrounds made every class interesting and supportive. I’m very grateful to Minqi Laoshi for always making the lessons clear and enjoyable, and I’m looking forward to continuing my Mandarin journey.

I really enjoyed learning Mandarin with Ain Laoshi. She is friendly and kind, and I learn new words every day. I get to practise speaking Mandarin in class, often doing assignments with classmates. I can now understand a little when Chinese people speak and even enjoy listening to Chinese music. Learning is fun, and I love it! Mandarin class is having a friendly and supportive laoshi who makes learning fun and stress-free. One of my most interesting memories was making funny mistakes, which helped me remember the right words, and also making new friends where we supported each other and had fun along the way. I really enjoy learning with Agnes Laoshi because of her teaching methods and the non-judgemental classmates. I joined every Wednesday class and can now understand simple conversations. I love the way Agnes Laoshi explains the lessons, everything is easy to understand. I managed to count from 1 to 10 in Chinese and memorized it. Since I meet a lot of Chinese speakers at work, learning Mandarin has become really important for me. I love the class and hope to become fluent in both conversation and writing. I also wish Agnes Laoshi could continue teaching me in the next level class!

The course module is very well-developed, and Ain Laoshi is attentive, patient, and very knowledgeable. Taking the HSK exam and doing role-playing as buyer and seller were some of the most memorable experiences, along with meeting new friends. What impressed me most during my Mandarin class with Ika Laoshi were her well-paced lessons, step-by-step guidance, and patience in teaching. One of my most memorable experiences was preparing for the role play assignment and performing it, along with the funny mistakes I made throughout the classes. Learning Mandarin has helped me understand simple conversations better as I’m able to catch some vocabulary and get the gist of what is being said. It also indirectly helps me build better relationships with my clients, as they can see my effort and become more open with me, especially the uncles and aunties. Although it has been challenging, I’m proud of my progress as I can now hold simple conversations and understand basic Mandarin. Agnes lǎoshī’s pronunciation is very clear, and she helped us pronounce Mandarin words properly. I always found Mandarin pronunciation complex and difficult, but she made it easier and fun. I loved singing during class, which also helped us pronounce words faster. I can now understand basic conversations and a few lines from Mandarin TV dramas, and I hope to visit my friend in Beijing someday. Learning Mandarin under Agnes lǎoshī has been much easier, and I feel lucky to have her as my teacher. Laoshi, you are the best I’ve had so far, and I wish you all the best in your future endeavours!

Learning with Minqi Laoshi since Level A has been such a fun journey! She is very friendly and engaging throughout the class, and even outside class, she supports any questions we have about the Mandarin language. One of my proudest moments was writing a full sentence in Pinyin with accurate tones. The role-playing sessions were entertaining and funny, especially when some of us brought props to act out the scenarios. I’m now able to understand general conversations in daily life, which has boosted my confidence as I love learning languages. I love how Ain lǎoshī handles the class in a fun and structured way, with a clear voice, always smiling, friendly, and using simple sentences that are easy to understand. Memorising the Self Introduction assignment helped me remember the dialogue and speak confidently in front of others. I can now say a few sentences in Mandarin and understand a bit when people speak it. The class is fun and challenging, and for the next level, I’ll definitely enroll in Ain lǎoshī’s class again because of the happy and friendly environment and her excellent Mandarin skills.

Agnes Laoshi really recognizes students’ improvement in pronunciation and values our effort in class. She is very supportive, makes the lessons interactive, and always encourages participation.
